Meet Luis Vega, DDS
Issaquah’s Trusted Oral Surgeon
Dr. Luis Vega is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose passion for surgery began in Costa Rica, where he witnessed how surgical care could transform lives while training at the Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic at the Costa Rican National Children’s Hospital. After earning his dental degree from the University of Costa Rica, he completed an internship at Loma Linda University and a four-year residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, later serving as full-time faculty at the University of Florida and as residency program director at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Known for handling complex cases with clarity and a calm, solutions-focused approach, his clinical interests include full-arch and zygomatic dental implant solutions and surgical complication management. Dr. Vega is excited to serve the Issaquah community and provide patients with the highest standard of care.
