Recently had my wisdom teeth removed.
As somebody who was SO nervous I was well taken care of, reassured and expertly advised on how to deal with post op. The team has checked in daily since and I am so grateful.
It went better than I ever imagined it to and would recommend to anybody.

If you're a patient, you have no idea if your dentist or oral surgeon is technically competent. Are they good? Unless you're looking over their shoulder and you know what "good" means, you're in the dark. Fun fact: patients use other tools to figure this out - like how clean a dental office is - because if there are no dust bunnies in the corner, that probably means they are doing a good job of keeping the instruments clean too.

I'm here to tell you as Dr. Fahmy's colleague, that he's who you want to go to. You should buy a good mattress and spend money on it because you spend 1/3rd of your life on that mattress. Mattresses are something you don't skimp on. Oral surgery (and any healthcare, for that matter) is the same. You probably will not need oral surgery regularly. So if you need oral surgery, get it done well the first time.

Do your homework, go to a practitioner who is good. Board certified. If you're getting implants, or full arch work, Dr. Fahmy is someone who does this often. You do well what you do often. He also does this digitally, which is bonus points, because you get better outcomes and less complications. And as a clinician myself, I want someone who is constantly improving. Someone who is taking photos. Someone who is going to continuing education classes. Someone who believes in the medical version of quality control.

This is the office and doctor you should go to.

Great experience. Dr. Vega explained what he was about to do, then performed the surgery. No pain during the surgery, no pain after the surgery.
